Grandma's Rice Pilaf

Grandma made the best rice pilaf which is a quick and easy side dish to prepare!  Ingredients: 1 Cup of Rice, 2 - 3 tablespoons of butter, 1 cup chicken broth, 1 cup water, ¼ cup fine egg noodles. Some Salt.DIRECTIONS:  Melt butter in pan and lightly brown egg noodles.  Add the rice and give the mixture a quick stir so that the rice can be coated with the melted butter.  Add the chicken broth and water to rice/noodle mixture. Wisconsin Property Tax Cut

Another Legislative Victory for Homeowners and REALTORSGov. Scott Walker signed into law SSSB 1, his property tax cut for every property owner in Wisconsin. The tax cut will actually reduce property taxes by approximately $131 for the average homeowner.The tax cut was paid for by using $406 million in state surplus to reduce the property tax portion of the funding for technical colleges.... read more
